We offer your child the first three sessions for free. 3 For Free!

Contact our Group Leader to register your child's interest to trial three sessions in the appropriate age group. Make sure to include you child's name and age.

Child Safe Scouting is our highest priority. Please read more about how we go about keeping your child safe from harm.

Adults interested in taking on a role within the group are most welcome to inquire also. All adults in Scouting require a Working With Children Check, and to consent to a National Police Records Check. They will undergo training in Child Safe practices.

After three sessions, you will be invited to register as a full member. A membership fee is payable which the Group Leader will outline. At this stage you are welcome to purchase a Scout uniform from the online store.

We use Stack Team App to communicate with parents. The Group Leader will send you an invitation to connect with your child's age section information and the Group teams.

When your child is ready, the section leader will work out a date for a special ceremony called an Investiture. This is a special night where the new Scout is formally welcomed to the group, makes a commitment to the Australian Scout Promise (choose the version that suits you best), and is presented with the group scarf and membership badges. Bring your camera!

Welcome to 1st/2nd Greensborough Scout Group and World Scouting!
